The Red Sox begin their quest for a second world championship in four seasons tonight at Fenway Park. Standing in their way are the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, the same franchise the Sox swept in three games in the 2004 Division Series.
The Red Sox were 5-4 against the Angels in the 2004 regular season, and they were 6-4 against them this time around.
