Raising the ceiling and removing a wall converts bedrooms to office-family room
As working at home becomes more common, Westerners axe carving attractive offices from parts of their living environments. In this example, designer David Stark Wilson of Wilson Associates in Emeryville, California, combined two adjacent bedrooms into a single bright, spacious home office and family room. When necessary, the family room accommodates a temporary bed.
