Baldwyn, Miss.- Industry veteran Hugh Hargett has joined Hancock Fabrics as senior vice president of wholesale trade, a new position for the fabric retailer, which is launching a wholesale division.
Hargett will develop the new division and build a commissioned sales force to target furniture manufacturers, top-of-the-bed, drapery manufacturers and independent retail fabric stores.
Hancock's wholesale line also will include occasional tables, chests, wall art, lamps and other home accents.
