Winner of video contest to be named ship's Godmother
MIAMI -- Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) today announced the search for the godmother of its new ship, Norwegian Gem. The company is inviting its Latitudes members to discover their inner "It" Girl and submit a video at gemitgirl.com explaining why they should be named Godmother of Norwegian Gem. The call for entries begins October 8, 2007 and ends on November 12, 2007. Five finalists will be revealed on November 15, 2007. The grand prize winner will be announced during the christening ceremony of Norwegian Gem on December 18, 2007 in New York City and will christen the ship during an on-board ceremony.
