Oct. 2--Shares of Orem-based Omniture Inc. jumped 115 percent during the first nine months of 2007 as the software company reported an unexpected second-quarter profit amid continued expansion of its customer base.

Omniture's performance was one of the standouts among the state's largest publicly held companies during the first three quarters, a period that saw some Utah companies outperform the stock markets, while others faltered.
