Oct. 4--Frozen custard, popular in many states for some time, slowly is catching on here, and one restaurant chain wants to take advantage of that.
Freddy's Frozen Custard hopes to lure San Antonio customers with its desserts and burgers. It opened in the Quarry Market in August.
"It's burgers, fries and ice cream. It's been done at 50,000 different restaurants and 1,000 different ways," said James Oberg, co-franchise owner. "But what makes us different is the quality and our value."
