Oct. 2--While Vincent Chase's "Medellin" project may have stirred up negative buzz at Cannes, another Pablo Escobar film is apparently moving forward again.
Perhaps buoyed by the fake promotional push given to the movie-within-the-show on "Entourage," the Yari Film Group is reportedly fast-tracking "Killing Pablo," a long-gestating adaptation of Mark Bowden's book.
Development on "Killing Pablo: The Hunt for the World's Greatest Outlaw," began nearly five years ago, but Variety is saying that the pic is coming back together with Javier Bardem playing the late Pablo Escobar and Christian Bale in talks to play Major Steve Jacoby, part of the military team that hunted ...
