Oct. 5--Auto-parts maker PMG Indiana will create 73 jobs with the $11 million expansion of its Columbus production facility.
The company said Thursday it is closing its Dayton, Ohio-based production and research and development facilities and moving them to a site adjacent to its 140,000-square-foot production facility on 40 acres in Columbus.
Larry Van Epps, executive vice president of PMG Indiana, said the lower cost of operating in Indiana is a major factor behind the move.
"The training support that we got from the state and the incentives we got from the state and the city were contributors," he said.
