Oct. 5--Airline delays continue to mount nationally, and Indianapolis International Airport is no exception.
Nearly 30 percent of flights on the nation's largest airlines arrived late in August, according to the U.S. Department of Transportation.
Indianapolis International's on-time arrival rate fell to 70.2 percent from 76.3 percent a year ago. That's below the national average, which dropped to 71.7 percent from 75.8 percent.
Airport director Bob Duncan is not surprised. As the nation goes, so goes Indianapolis, he says.
"It's a domino effect originating from some of the hub airports that may contribute to our delays," explained ...
