WAYNE, Pa., May 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Comcast International Holdings, Inc., a division of Comcast Corp. (Nasdaq-NNM: CMCSA, CMCSK), a major U.S. cellular telephone operator and the third largest cable company in the United States, said it is teaming up with Radio Telefis Eireann (RTE), Ireland's premier National Broadcasting Service; Bord Na Mona, an energy, horticultural and environmental products group; and GCI Ltd., a communications company newly established by Irish entrepreneur Declan Ganley, to bid for Ireland's second mobile phone license. Comcast will be the majority shareholder with at least a 65% interest.
