Austin LeBlanc and Zach Smith were in line at Coors Field for World Series tickets even before the Rockies defeated the Phillies on Saturday.
In fact, they were there seven hours before the game began.
"We knew we were going to sweep them, so we said, 'Let's go,' " LeBlanc said.
Their 24-hour vigil came to an abrupt end at noon Sunday when Rockies officials told them and about five other of the team's most serious fans that tickets would be sold by lottery.
"It's absolutely frustrating," LeBlanc said. "We were there because we're fans. It's just not fair."
"The bummer of the day," Smith added.
