No one doubts that the specialty coffee industry is composed of highly passionate individuals who love the product they sell. These folks are generally "in the know" with regard to the processes and chemicals used in the farming of their coffees. Further, specialty coffees often carry certifications that make warranties as to the minimal environmental impact their cultivation has had.
