This book explores Neolithic conceptions of the cosmos in the Near East, c.6500 BC and Britain, Ireland, and Brittany, c.3000 BC. It argues that these were manifested through art, architecture, and ritual practices from the settlements at 'Ain Ghazal and Catal Hoyuk to the passage graves at Newgrange and Knowth.
