BRIEF: Pelham resident blows whistle on graffiti vandals.

Oct. 8--PELHAM, N.H. -- Two 14-year-olds out around midnight last night were caught spraying graffiti on the side of Stateline Market when a resident called police, police said.

One boy dropped his can of red spray paint and surrendered as soon as police arrived, but Officer Theresa Ferrante had to chase and subdue the second boy from Reading, police said.

Both boys were charged with criminal mischief. The Reading boy was also charged with resisting arrest.
