BasEl subsidiary acquires tender docs for Serbian copper producer (Part 2)
MOSCOW. Oct 8 (Interfax) - A subsidiary of Oleg Deripaska's Basic Element (BasEl) has acquired the documentation for a tender to privatize the RTB Bor copper producer from Serbia.
A BasEl representative told Interfax that the company had not yet decided whether to bid and that the decision would be reached by October 31.
A total of five companies acquired the tender documentation, including Cyprus' East Point, which is owned by Serbian businessman Zoran Drakulic, Austria's Briksleg and India's Vedanta Resources PLC, Bloomberg reported.
