Although pediatric bone cancer has a low incidence, the implications of the disease are staggering. Given an overall 5-year survival rate of approximately 65% for pediatric patients, malignant bone tumors must be diagnosed and treated rapidly and accurately. This article discusses various pediatric bone cancers and their treatment.
