Oct. 9--GROTON -- Students at the Florence Roche Elementary School can safely play outdoors, thanks to parents' efforts to install a climber and rubber tiles on the school playground following last year's environmental cleanup there.

But the Parent Teacher Association has a big job left to do -- it must pay for the upgrades by raising $13,000 by late November.

They are asking residents to help them while swinging to blues at an upcoming fundraising dance.
