Oct. 9--BILLERICA -- A Mexican restaurant, real-estate firm, hair salon, dry cleaner and Italian sandwich shop are the early tenants in a new strip mall off Brick Kiln Road on the Billerica-Chelmsford line.

Carl Piacenza, sales director at Tyngsboro-based Applewood Construction Corp., said the company was pleased with the progress in filling the 22,000-square-foot brick and granite building.

"It's been steady," he said. "The fact that we have basement storage has been a real plus."
