NORTHBRIDGE - Kristin A. Burns, chairwoman of the School Committee, has submitted her resignation, making her the second committee member to resign in three weeks.
Ms. Burns has served on the committee for five and a half years. She submitted her resignation Friday, saying she did so because of increasing family and work commitments.
Paula L. Grabowski resigned from the School Committee Sept. 14. She submitted a letter to the town clerk's office stating she was no longer a resident of Northbridge as of that date.
The School Committee must notify the Board of Selectmen of any vacancy within 30 days, in order to set up ...
