The Warsaw-Ivangorod (Deblin) operation of the Russian south-western front (SWF) and of part of the forces of the north-western front (NWF) is interesting first and foremost in the context of the art of operational foresight, teamwork and of the operational maneuver of the front and army formations, which addressed anything but simple tasks in the course of its execution.
