Eight in drug sting may now face trial: Quakertown man among those charged in distribution ring case.

Oct. 10--All eight of the 34 people arrested in the July takedown of an alleged drug distribution ring who contested their charges were ordered Tuesday to face trial in Bucks County Court.

After hearing two days of sometimes colorful testimony from county detectives, District Judge Phil Daly of Doylestown ruled there was enough evidence to support the charges against the eight men.

Among them were alleged ringleader James Beal of Bristol Township, and the sole defendant from Upper Bucks County -- William Ibbetson, 32, of 106 Jefferson Court, Quakertown.
