Oct. 10--Eagle River's Nicole Viotto and Shayla Dahl powered the Wolves over East in Tuesday's CIC match.
Viotto registered a team-high 14 kills and 23 digs, while Dahl chipped in 13 kills to help Eagle River win 25-19, 27-25, 17-25, 25-18.
Katherine Pili notched 19 kills and Gloria Thompson had 17 for the Thunderbirds.
South 3, Chugiak 2
The South Wolverines won their fifth straight CIC match Tuesday after beating the Chugiak Mustangs at home 25-16, 27-25, 22-25, 20-25, 15-5.
Caroline Wilson led the Wolverines with nine kills, while Sarah Hibbert and Hallie Noah combined for 16 kills.
