Oct. 10--Northwest Medical Center has named Paul Kappelman the new chief executive officer of the hospital. He had been serving as interim CEO since Aug. 20, following the resignation of Phil Gustafson.
Kappelman's appointment marks a return for him to the hospital, which he joined in 1998 as assistant administrator. He was named CEO of Northwest Medical Center Oro Valley in January 2003.
