Art seminar to advocate for visually impaired.

Oct. 10--Visually impaired people who have felt dissatisfied with previous visits to local art museums and galleries will have people speaking on their behalf at a workshop this weekend.

The Art Beyond Sight workshop, to be held Friday at the Arizona State Schools for the Deaf and the Blind, will feature event designers from the Tucson Association of Museums, which includes the Arizona State Museum and Tohono Chul Park. The goal is to find ways to make art exhibits more accessible to the blind and visually impaired.
