TAKE TIME HUNTING FOR SPECIAL DRESS

Q: I am looking for a dress for my wedding next March, and the options are overwhelming. How do I narrow my search but still find the dress of my dreams? And what about trends? If I buy my dress now, will it be out of fashion in six months' time?

A: A wedding gown is a purchase most women hope to make just once in their lives, so there's no margin for error.

For guidance, I enlisted the help of Michael Shettel, a designer for the Alfred Angelo line of bridal wear for more than 20 years. He was at the Altamonte Town Center recently for the opening of the first Alfred Angelo store in Central Florida.
