Oct. 10--A Louisiana woman who said her stroke was caused by a ride on Universal Orlando's Back to the Future attraction has settled a lawsuit against the resort for undisclosed terms.
Mary Ann Williams and Universal settled last month after Florida's Fifth District Court of Appeal sided with the company, upholding a state Circuit Court judge's ruling that Universal did not have to disclose any information about others who might have had strokes or heart attacks associated with the ride.
Neither Williams' lawyer, Carlos R. Diez-Arguelles, nor Universal representatives would comment on the settlement or the suit.
