Activists discuss police brutality claims: EAST SIDE.

Oct. 10--Local community activists met Tuesday to discuss allegations of police brutality and, simultaneously, to support a black police officer who said she was punched in the face by a white male officer during an on-duty scuffle last year.

Officer Cariol J. Horne said she fought with Officer Greg Kwiatkowski after he and another officer used excessive force while trying to arrest David Neal Mack. Police were investigating a report of a domestic dispute at Mack's Walden Avenue home.

Horne faces departmental charges for her role in the fight, which mystifies and outrages members of the Millions More Movement and other local activist groups ...
