Master plan unveiled for Hub City schools.

Oct. 10--Public forums will be scheduled on what should be done to accommodate more students in Aberdeen's public grade schools, the school board decided Tuesday night.

Board members expressed particular interest in whether the public thinks the original section of Simmons Middle School should be saved for use as an elementary school. The wing, built in 1929, is slated to be demolished as part of the construction/renovation project going on at Simmons Middle.

The forums could take place as early as November.
