Lawsuit filed by Franklin parents: Section head named in move that follows probe of school's football team.

Oct. 10--The parents of two Franklin High varsity football players from American Samoa filed a lawsuit in the U.S. Territory's High Court on Thursday in the wake of an investigation by the Sac-Joaquin Section.

The plaintiffs -- Faau and Florita Seumanutafa, and Reggie and Fuaviva McComber, whose sons play on Franklin High's varsity football team -- are suing section commissioner Pete Saco, section attorney Scott Donald and section consultant Chuck Smrt alleging negligence, invasion of privacy and negligent infliction of emotional distress.
