Oct. 10--MANTECA -- Chris Handsor defines himself as a winner.
That alone makes him an attractive player.
Coach Bernie Lilavois hopes Handsor helps improve the fortune of the California Cougars, which have finished at the bottom of the Major Indoor Soccer League in each of their first two seasons.
The 35-year-old forward, acquired by the Cougars in July's expansion draft, has played on three championship teams in his 13-year indoor career. He was named most valuable player of the 2003 MISL finals, when he helped lead the Philadelphia Kixx to the crown.
