Oct. 9--WILLIAMSBURG -- William and Mary's steadily improving defense crashed into a sinkhole in a record-breaking loss at Villanova.
The Tribe now must demonstrate that last Saturday's performance was an aberration, with a struggling opponent up next and a daunting stretch of games on the horizon.
"That's the good thing about football," W&M linebacker Josh Rutter said. "If you play a great game and lose a close one, or you play a terrible game and get blown out, they both only count as one loss, and you still get this upcoming week to turn it around."
