Oct. 9--Transfer Allison Wolfe's arrival on Christopher Newport's volleyball team has been an outstanding fit, to say the least. Wolfe, 20, a 6-foot junior outside hitter from Yorktown, has sparked CNU (17-5, 11-0 USA South) to a 16-match winning streak. Her team will set the school volleyball win-streak record tonight if it prevails in the Freeman Center against Mary Baldwin, which CNU beat 3-0 in Staunton earlier this season. CNU also has won 31 straight games -- Game 5 against North Carolina Wesleyan for a 3-2 triumph, then 10 straight matches by 3-0 scores.
