Police are investigating a St. Paul parking meter worker who tellers say brought in huge amounts of coins for about a year, deposited several hundred dollars each time into his personal account and took the rest in bills, according to search warrant affidavits filed Tuesday in Ramsey County District Court.

Vincent Carl Schettner, 63, drew the attention of a teller at the City and County Credit Union in St. Paul after she noticed him bring in dollar coins and quarters on a weekly basis totaling about $1,200, the affidavits said. He gave ...
