Oct. 10--The Key West and Monroe County commissions will sit side by side next week to see if they can hammer out an agreement over stormwater fees at Key West International Airport.

The joint meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 17 at the Harvey Government Center in Key West following the regular meeting of the County Commission, which begins at 9 a.m. Both will be broadcast live on Comcast Channel 76 and on the Web.

Key West has imposed a stormwater utility fee on the airport that county officials say is excessive.
