Going green doesn't mean expensive: Key West inn is Keys' fourth Green Lodge.

Oct. 10--Something clicked for Tom and Nancy Coward during a vacation earlier this year.

The owners of the Andrews Inn & Garden Cottages in Key West stayed at the Len Foote Hike Inn, nestled deep in Georgia's Amicalola Falls State Park.

The Cowards say their April stay at the inn - known for its low-impact environmental practices - translated terms like "green lodging" into something tangible.

"It takes the concept and shows it in a working business," Nancy says. "When we got back, I took it on as my cause."

Nancy scoured the Internet for information and created "green punch lists."
