Oct. 10--KNIGHTDALE -- It wasn't the chance to win $25,000 that hooked them, but an opportunity to support their mothers, grandmothers, aunts and other relatives who lived or died after being diagnosed with breast cancer.
Both people issued invitations and those beckoned by the Pink Panther on Knightdale Boulevard stopped in to the Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston's Paint the Town Pink benefit Saturday.
There was food, camaraderie, face painting and an inflatable bouncing game for the children and a chance to win $25,000 for the adults. Each office sent one name to compete in the ultimate drawing for $25,000 at the Koka Booth ...
