Oct. 10--In preparation for construction of an addition to our home, Anna Kate and I traveled to Robersonville a few weeks ago and lugged back a truckload of bricks salvaged by my grandfather from old barns around the farm.
We stacked the bricks neatly against the wall of an outbuilding in our backyard and trusted they would sit there quietly until they were needed.
On a recent Sunday afternoon I returned from the office about suppertime to find out the bricks had been put to a different, if temporary, use.
It seems Anna Kate and Pitt decided to build their own miniature golf course.
