Oct. 10--SALISBURY -- The Salisbury Veterans Medical Center has a new initiative to help all those who served in Iraq and Afghanistan find the resources they need after coming home.
The center is planning a welcome home event for anyone who has served in the combat zones. The event will include information and links to numerous career, educational and health care benefits available.
"I think this is going to be a greateventandIthinkitshows the support for our troops that our country has," said Carol Waters, spokeswoman for the veterans center.
