Oct. 10--CHIBA -- After a while it didn't really seem to matter who was on the mound for the Chiba Lotte Marines.
Nobuhiko Matsunaka had three RBIs and the Fukuoka Softbank Hawks scored early and often to even their Pacific League Climax Series with a 8-3 win on Tuesday night at Chiba Marine Stadium.
The Marines were on their third pitcher midway through the second inning and used seven hurlers overall as they were denied an opportunity to clinch a spot opposite the Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters in the second stage of the PL Climax Series.
