Oct. 10--Kids at Muhlenberg Elementary School might get a Halloween parade after all -- just not at the school.
Fairgrounds Square Mall has stepped in to host the annual Halloween parade that the school canceled because of construction and safety concerns.
Clayton Ash, mall manager, said the mall will hold its parade Oct. 26 -- the day the school event was planned -- after the elementary school dismisses for the day.
Ash had offered to host the parade during school hours, but district officials did not respond.
