Exeter's win over Wilson worth wait: Since losing to the Bulldogs Sept. 13, the Eagles have been counting the days until the rematch. They got revenge Tuesday night.

Oct. 10--Eric Pepper and his Exeter teammates were already antsy. They had already waited four weeks for their Berks I boys soccer rematch with archrival Wilson, which handed the Eagles an early-season loss at West Lawn.

They had already been waiting two years to beat the Bulldogs, who rode a four-game series win streak into this latest scrum at Reiffton.

So when Tuesday night's heavy rains and hammering thunder made Pepper and Co. wait two more hours for kickoff, it was nearly too much for the Eagles to take.
