Oct. 10--TOPEKA -- Lawrence High's volleyball team went 1-2 on Tuesday in a quadrangular at Washburn Rural.
Lawrence High lost to Washburn Rural, 27-25, 20-25, 25-11, defeated Manhattan, 17-25, 25-21, 25-23, then fell to Topeka Hayden, 25-15, 25-8.
Linsdey Murray had 20 kills and 17 digs for the Lions, and Tayler Tolefree added 19 kills and 11 blocks.
The Lions (9-16) will play Saturday at the Emporia Invitational.
