Oct. 10--BAILEYVILLE, Maine -- "It is time to move on" said the town manager Tuesday after the Town Council reviewed a letter written by a Passamaquoddy tribal governor criticizing the Bangor Daily News for an article exploring a potential hate crime in the community.
Town Manager Scott Harriman said he put the governor's letter on the agenda so the councilors would be aware of its content.
"I passed on my appreciation to Gov. [Billy] Nicholas for the letter ... and it is time to move on," Harriman said.
