GSA girls soccer team ends regular season undefeated.

Oct. 10--SEARSPORT, Maine -- The George Stevens Academy girls soccer team ended its regular season Tuesday with a big win over Searsport and an even bigger piece of school history.

The Eagles of Blue Hill, who have been in four Class C state title games since 2000, rolled to a 7-2 victory over the Vikings, wrapping up their first-ever undefeated regular season.

GSA, now 13-0-1, will wait to find out if the team can hold on to the No. 1 spot in the Eastern Maine Class C rankings, which is where it stood in the Heal point standings released Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the Eagles are pleased to have reached a milestone for the program.
