Oct. 10--It's been 10 years since Matt Holliday last played competitive football.

But the all-star left fielder with the Colorado Rockies still loves to compete at the sport, albeit a different version.

In his garage, Holliday has an exercise bike set up in front of a flat-screen television.

"I play football and PlayStation while I ride the bike to help time go by," Holliday admitted.

During the offseason, Holliday watches plenty of football.

His father, Tom, was born in Uniontown, Pa., and weened Matt on the Pittsburgh Steelers while living in Stillwater.
