Oct. 10--Somewhat overlooked in the aftermath of Duke's fifth loss in six games last Saturday was the marvelous performance of wide receiver Eron Riley.
Sure, Wake Forest's Kenny Moore ran for 84 yards and had 11 catches for 100 yards, and the Deacons beat Duke 41-36 for the eighth consecutive time.
Wake owns Duke. You know it, I know it.
But Riley, a 6-3 junior from Savannah, Ga., is a player worth the price of admission.
Riley had a career-high eight catches for 143 yards and two touchdowns. His 68-yard reception for a score, on a pass from Thaddeus Lewis, was an indication the Blue Devils can put points on the board.
