Although Marlise Kast's first book, "Tabloid Prodigy," which was published by Running Press and sells for $24.95 on the shelves of major bookstores, and can also be found at Target, Wal-Mart and on Amazon.com is due to come out in paperback soon, she doesn't know how many copies have been sold and prefers to think it's not doing well.
That way, she says she stays motivated to continue helping with the book's promotional effort, which has been a success story in its own right.
