TOKYO, Oct 12 Asia Pulse - NTT Data Corp. (TSE:9613) plans to launch next year an online tax filing service to assist individual business owners with their returns.

Through this service, customers will be able to have their tax data compiled automatically and sent directly to the National Tax Agency's electronic filing system.

The number of taxpayers filing via NTT Data's service is expected to reach 200,000 in the fiscal 2007 tax season, which starts next February, as the government takes measures to spur electronic filing.

To use the service, customers must purchase NTT Data's electronic tax filing software, which goes on sale in January for ...
