PEABODY Madeline T. (Olsson) Larkin, age 85, wife for 60 years of Robert Larkin, of Peabody, formerly of Salem, died Tuesday evening in the Kaplan Family Hospice House, Danvers.
Born in Salem, the daughter of the late John J. and Mary (Harrington) Olsson, she received her education in Salem Schools and then was employed by the B & M Railroad in their Boston office until marrying her husband in 1947.
During their marriage, they moved for her husbands career and had resided in eight different states. As these moves occurred, Mrs. Larkin became active in the local community and was a hospital volunteer wherever she lived. For many years she was a volunteer ...
