Czech Agropol's unit Primagra launches CZK 100 mln biodiesel plant in Czech Republic
PRAGUE. OCTOBER 12. INTERFAX CENTRAL EUROPE - Czech company Primagra has launched a CZK 100 mln biodiesel plant in Milin, Central Bohemia, the company stated.
"The plant's annual capacity of the methyl ester of rape-seed oil is 35,000 tonnes," the company said in a statement.
As of September, it became compulsory to add Fatty Acid Methyl Ester (FAME) from rape-seed oil to diesel fuel sold at filling stations in the Czech Republic - distributors must provide for now a 2% bio-component to retail fuels.
